The villa is located in close proximity to an ancient romanesque church (12th century), the Abbey of Sant’Angelo from which it takes its name. The villa is spread over three floors and immersed in the greenery of olive groves amongst the terraced fields rising from the Val d’Esse all the way to the Parterre hills (the town’s tourist promenade) and the fortress of the ancient Etruscan city.

Set in a charming and typically Cortonese atmosphere the Villa is located just below the world-famous Villa Bramasole that rose to Hollywood fame with the feature film “Under the Tuscan Sun”. Only few hundred yards farther you will be able to see the villa that was used as a movie set.
